Turn your Stapelstein stepping stones into beautiful, multi-sensory learning stations — at home, in water, or at the beach!
As a mom, I always look for toys that grow with my child for years — and Stapelstein is one I never regret buying. But I wanted more ways to use our stepping stones for learning, especially during wet sensory play, bath time, or beach adventures.
So I started designing durable, water-friendly inserts — and these are the first two we’re excited to share with you (with many more ideas already in the works!).
Hexagon Finger Labyrinth
A hexagon-shaped finger maze designed for focus, coordination, and balance play.
This set includes 10 wooden balls that children can guide and balance into the center hole — building patience, concentration, and fine motor skills.
Geoboard Insert (optional with Flower Set)
First and foremost, this is a geoboard — a versatile learning tool that works with all of our existing accessories.
It can be used with:
-
Rubber bands
-
Pipe cleaners
-
Threading activities
-
Peg pattern building
-
Letters and numbers
-
Creative small world setups
To make it even more playful, this set also includes 20 colorful flowers and bugs for building a beautiful flower garden — but the possibilities go far beyond flowers!
Each board measures approximately 8.5" in diameter and is 3D printed with care to fit beautifully inside your stepping stones.
We hope you’ll love these inserts as much as we do in our home — and stay tuned, because many more creative designs are coming soon!
